Robin van Persie is the all-time leading goalscorer in Dutch national team history. He has scored over 40 goals for his country.


Van Persie started all seven of the Netherlands games at the 2010 World Cup and scored against Cameroon. In nine games during this cycle of World Cup qualifying he scored 11 goals.


After starting his career with Feyenoord, van Persie signed with Arsenal in 2004. Over eight seasons with the club he scored 96 Premier League goals, including 30 in his last season. In his first season with Manchester United he helped the club win the Premier League.
